United Call On ‘Super Agent’ To Secure Deal For £97m Rated Playmaker

Manchester United have employed the services of super-agent Fali Ramadani to help them sign Lazio attacking midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Footmercato.net.

The French website claims Ramadani will act as an intermediary between the Red Devils and Lazio president Claudio Lotito as they look to secure an agreement for the Serbian international.

Lotito reportedly rejected a bid which totalled €110m (£97m) from United for Milinkovic-Savic last summer and it is believed he will drive a hard bargain for the 25-year-old.

The Manchester club’s pursuit of the playmaker is believed to be an insurance policy just in case Paul Pogba does leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.

United are said to have already held preliminary talks with Milinkovic-Savic’s agent, Mateja Kezman who used to play for Chelsea as striker in his playing days, but even if personal terms can be agreed, negotiating a price with Lotito could still be a stumbling block. Whether Ramadani’s involvement will help to smooth out the process, we shall have to wait and see.
