Manchester United have been “offered” Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, according to Fichajes.net. The Spanish website claims the Red Devils are the third Premier League club, after Chelsea and Spurs, to be given the chance to sign the Argentinian international this summer.

The 26-year-old’s contract expires in 2022 and Juve have reportedly decided not to hand fresh terms to the player. It means he will be on the market at the end of the season, with reports suggesting that he could be offloaded for around €50m (£43m).

Whether such a figure would tempt United, it seems debatable. The Red Devils have been linked with Dybala in the past but his injury record this season, in particular, has been pretty poor.

A knee injury has kept him out since early January, having scored just three goals in 16 appearances this campaign. In addition to his sizeable wage demands, it doesn’t seem like a realistic transfer, especially with the club’s time and resources expected to be focused on signing another forward: Erling Haaland.
