United Backed To Make ‘New Offer’ For La Liga Ace After Previous 109M Proposal Was Turned Down

Manchester United could well make a “new offer” for Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix, according to Cadena SER.

The Spanish radio station claim that the Red Devils have previously had a €125m (£109m) bid rejected for the Portuguese international.

However, it is believed that they could revive their interest in Felix when the January transfer window opens, with the player said to be pushing for a move away from Atletico.

Other Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with the 22-year-old but Cadena SER report that United are the ones ready to make an approach if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag’s side are not expected to make an offer for Felix that is as big as their previous proposal and they may face competition from Paris Saint-Germain too, so we shall see whether this transfer does gather momentum in the coming weeks.
