United Are Pursuing Move For Nigerian Star Who Has Been Hailed As A “Complete Striker” By Didier Drogba

Manchester United are interested in signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Nigerian international is believed to be on a shortlist of targets as the Red Devils look to strengthen their options up front.

Osimhen has been in good form this season, having racked up nine goals in 13 appearances, and he has been praised by Chelsea legend Didier Drogba for his selflessness during a recent Champions League game against Ajax:

In addition to his goals, the forward is known for his work rate, chasing down lost causes, and using his pace and power to outmuscle opposing defenders.

Osimhen is unlikely to be available on the cheap, with reports suggesting that Napoli could demand €100m (£88m) for his services, but he will reach the final two years of his contract in the summer and his club may think that it is time to sell up.

Other Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham, have also been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old, so we shall see who ends up being the frontrunner for his signature.
