United Are ‘Keeping Tabs’ On £959K A Week Superstar As Prospective Qatari Owners Draw Up Transfer Plans

Neymar

Manchester United are “keeping tabs” on Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar, according to Footmercato.net.

The Brazilian, who currently earns £959,000 a week at his current club, has been monitored by the Red Devils for “several months” with a bid in the summer transfer window not out of the question.

PSG are said to be keen to offload Neymar due to his sky-high salary but the Ligue One champions are aware that few teams would be able to afford the player.

Chelsea were linked last summer but Footmercato claim that United are the likeliest to make a move for the 31-year-old now. It is believed that a number of high-profile players could arrive at Old Trafford if the club is bought out by Qatari investors.

Of course, it should be pointed out that, at this stage, the Glazers have not made a decision to sell United, so any move for Neymar remains on the back burner.
