United Are Handed Big Boost As Bayern Star ‘Prefers’ Premier League Switch

Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso “prefers” a move to the Premier League if he leaves his current club in the summer, according to Fussballtransfers.com.

The German website reports that Manchester United held a “concrete interest” in signing the Frenchman during the January transfer window but the move was blocked by Bayern head coach Hansi Flick.

Despite the Red Devils having signed Bruno Fernandes instead, it is believed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are still keen on snapping up Tolisso.

Bayern are said to be open to selling the 25-year-old when the transfer window reopens, although United will have a lot of competition for the player’s signature.

Arsenal are very keen on Tolisso, while the likes of Inter Milan, Napoli, Juventus and Atletico Madrid are keeping tabs on his situation. However, with the midfielder eyeing a move to England, United and the Gunners will be favourites to land him.
