United And City Table Offers For £22.5m Rated Teenager Who Has ‘Travelled To England’ For Talks With Both Teams

Manchester United and Manchester City have both made offers for Angers left-back Rayan Ait Nouri, according to Fussballtransfers.com.

The 19-year-old is said to have “travelled to England” earlier this week to hold talks with both Manchester teams and to tour their training facilities.

It is believed that Angers will hold out for a club-record fee for Ait Nouri, which means they will be demanding more than the €25m (£22.5m) they sold Jeff Reine-Adelaide to Lyon back in August last year.

His agent is Jorge Mendes and it is believed that the Portuguese representative is aware of interest from other teams, including Wolves, Crystal Palace and Atletico Madrid.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely keen to find some competition for Luke Shaw at left-back, with the Norwegian not said to be happy with his backup options for the 25-year-old.

Ait-Nouri is an attacking fullback and the France Under 21 international would certainly give Solskjaer more of a threat from the left-hand side.
