United And Chelsea On Alert As Targets Named Among 8 Players Who Could Be Offloaded In Fire Sale

Borussia Dortmund may consider putting eight players up for sale if they don’t finish in the Champions League places this season, according to WAZ.

The German publication claims that Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham are among the high profile names who could be offloaded if Dortmund don’t finish in the top four.

After 20 games, the Bundesliga side are sixth in the league, four points behind fourth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt and, following some inconsistent form under new manager Edin Terzinc, there is a risk they could miss out on European football.

Manchester United are thought to be interested in both Haaland and Sancho, with the former also attracting the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea. The Blues are also believed to be after Bellingham.

Considering the financial impact of the global health crisis as well, Dortmund’s potential failure to qualify for the Champions League could hit them hard, meaning the likes of United may be able to get their targets for knockdown prices.
