United And Chelsea May Only Have To Pay 17.4M To Lure Brazilian Star Away From Italian Giants

Juventus would be prepared to sell left-back Alex Sandro for just €20m (£17.4m) this summer, according to TuttoJuve.com. The Italian website reports that the Brazilian international is effectively up for the sale, and while they would initially ask for €25m (£22m), he could be offloaded for a lower amount.

It is believed that Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain may well consider making a move for the 30-year-old at that price, although, the Red Devils are pretty well catered for in the left-back position.

Alex Telles was snapped up from Porto to provide competition for Luke Shaw back in October and a move for Sandro would probably only happen if they felt Telles was not performing to the level required.

United do generally have a policy of signing younger players these days, and considering Sandro is now the wrong side of 30, it would be a surprise if Ole Solskjaer’s side do make a move for the fullback, even if he is available for a knockdown price.
