United And Chelsea Could Be Set To Do Battle For 34M Rated South American Wonderkid

Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are all vying to sign Palmeiras forward Endrick, according to reports in the Brazilian media.

The 15-year-old has agreed to sign his first professional contract with Palmeiras but that is not likely to stop his side from selling him to a European club.

Palmeiras know that Endrick won’t be allowed to move teams until he is legally able at the age 18 anyway, so club president Leila Pereira knows they will have the player for at least two seasons even if they listen to offers now.

Despite the striker having not played a first-team game yet, it is believed that they could maximise his sale value by agreeing to a transfer this summer.

With Endrick having a €40m (£34m) release clause in his contract, Palmeiras are said to be hoping to receive an offer close to that amount. Whether United will take a chance and pay the fee, we shall have to wait and see.
