Manchester United forward Anthony Martial and Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette are among Juventus’s targets for the January transfer window, according to reports in Italy.
Juve’s number one priority is believed to be Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic but the cost of the transfer is proving prohibitive, with the Viola looking for at least €80m (£68m).
It means the Bianconeri have been looking at potential alternatives to the Serbian international. The likes of Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauro Icardi, Benfica’s Darwin Nunez, Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca and Pisa’s Lorenzo Lucca have all been looked at, with Martial and Lacazette also on the list of options.
Martial has not featured for the Red Devils since before the last international break due to injury. The Frenchman did, however, return to the bench for the 2-2 draw against Atalanta last week, and he was an unused substitute during the 2-0 home defeat to Manchester City.
It remains to be seen what United’s stance would be if Juventus do make an offer for the forward in the New Year.
