United Among Three Clubs ‘Monitoring’ England U19 Star Whose Contract Is Running Down

Manchester United are one of three teams “monitoring” Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka’s contract situation, according to the Daily Mail.

The England Under 19 international is currently earning just £3,000 a week and with his deal expiring in 17 months time, there is a possibility that the Gunners would have to sell up if they can’t come to an agreement.

However, United will face competition for the teenager with Liverpool and Bayern Munich also believed to be keeping tabs on the youngster.

Saka has broken into Arsenal’s first team this season, and although he is ostensibly an attacking player, he has been employed at left-back on a number of occasions this campaign due to an injury crisis.

Whether being played out of position will play a part in his possible departure from the Emirates, it is not known. The 18-year-old has come through the youth academy at Arsenal and it remains to be seen if he is willing to leave London.
