United Among SEVEN PL Clubs Who Have Made Enquiry For £50m Rated Stopper

Manchester United are one of seven Premier League clubs who have registered an interest in Brighton centre-back Ben White, according to reports in England.

The Red Devils have inquired about the 22-year-old’s services, along with Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Leicester.

Leeds are said to be the only club who have made a formal bid so far, having tabled an offer of £30m plus £5m in add-ons for White. However, Brighton value the defender in excess of £50m despite having only played two first-team games for the Seagulls.

For that price, United will likely consider looking at other targets. They had been linked with the likes of Lille’s Gabriel Magalhaes and Monaco’s Benoit Badiashile who could be available for half that amount.

A centre-back is, though, unlikely, to be a priority for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side with the club currently focused on getting a deal over the line for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.
