Manchester United have made an enquiry for Barcelona right-back Nelson Semedo, according to Goal.com Spain.
The Red Devils are said to be interested in the fullback, along with Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
Barca have, however, told United and other clubs that the Portuguese international is not for sale and won’t be sold this summer.
It would be a surprise if Semedo was a top priority for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, considering the club recruited Aaron Wan-Bissaka for £50m last month.
United may have initially been in for the Barcelona right-back before they moved on to the signing the Crystal Palace star.
In any case, it’s highly unlikely that the Manchester club will make a bid for Semedo during this transfer window.
A United fullback may well move in the other direction, though, with the Spanish press reporting that Matteo Darmian could be a target for Barcelona.
