United Agree £50m Fee For 21 Year Old And Have Offered £80K A Week Contract

Manchester United have agreed a fee in the region of £50m for Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to the BBC.

The Red Devils have offered the 21-year-old an £80,000 a week contract with a deal close to being finalised.

United have been locked in negotiations with Palace for well over a week, and the Eagles had initially rejected bids because they were not happy with the amount they had been offered up front for the player.

Wan-Bissaka only made his senior debut against Tottenham back in February 2018, but he established himself as first-choice right-back at Selhurst Park last season.

The defender made 39 appearances in all competitions last campaign for Palace, scoring no goals and providing four assists.

Wan-Bissaka will become United’s second signing of the summer, following the club’s £18m capture of Daniel James from Swansea.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems to be eyeing young talent as he looks to freshen up his squad ahead of his first full season in charge.
