United Add Third Ligue One Striker To List Of Transfer Targets After Making Contact With Player’s Entourage

Manchester United are interested in Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder, according to reports in the French media. It is believed that the Red Devils have already made been in contact with the France international’s entourage.

Ben Yedder has been in excellent form this campaign, having scored 18 goals in 26 league appearances despite Monaco currently sitting ninth in Ligue One.

United reportedly have their eye on a number of forwards in the French league, with Lille’s Victor Osimhen and Lyon’s Moussa Dembele also being monitored by the Manchester club.

Out of the three, Ben Yedder is the oldest at 29 years of age, but he has scored 160 goals in his senior career, and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may be looking for an experienced goal poacher to improve his attacking options.

With Monaco having only shelled out €40m on the Frenchman last summer, though, United would likely have to pay a fair amount to snap up the striker.
