United Ace Weighing Up Leaving Old Trafford Following Latest Snub By Solskjaer

Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard is weighing up whether to leave the club before the transfer window closes next month, according to reports in the English media.

The 27-year-old did not even make the matchday squad for the 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend, despite manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claiming some players in his team weren’t 100% fit following their season opener.

Lingard had taken a full part in preseason, having only taken a short holiday before returning to training at the start of September. He hoped he would at least be in contention for the Palace game but it seems he is quite a way down the pecking order.

There had been claims that Tottenham were interested in the England international but local media sources have since dismissed those reports. However, the player is now seriously contemplating his future following this latest selection snub.

Lingard has been at Old Trafford for the best part of 20 years and it would be a tremendous wrench for him to leave his boyhood club.
