Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has been shortlisted in GiveMeSport‘s Fans’ PL Player of the Month award for April.

The 19-year-old has been nominated along with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander Arnold, West Ham’s Jesse Lingard, West Brom’s Matheus Pereira, Leeds’ Illan Meslier and Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho for the prize.

Greenwood scored four goals and provided one assist in four league appearances last month, contributing to three wins against Brighton, Tottenham and Burnley.

It hasn’t been an easy season for the teenager, who has struggled to rediscover the performance levels he showed during the 2019/20 campaign, but he has been in top form over the past month.

Considering it is a crucial part of the season as well, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be delighted he can call upon Greenwood in matches to make a difference when required.
