United Ace Named Among The Six Nominees For PL Award After 3 Goals In 3 Appearances

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has been nominated for the August Premier League player of the month award.

The 19-year-old will be going up against Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso, West Ham pair Michail Antonio & Said Benrahma, Tottenham’s Eric Dier and Everton’s Demarai Grat for the accolade.

Greenwood has had an excellent start to the campaign. On the opening day, he scored with a finely taken goal in the 5-1 win over rivals Leeds United.

He then followed that up with a crucial equaliser against Southampton, and the winner in a tight contest versus Wolves at Molineux last weekend.

Greenwood was surprisingly omitted from the England squad for the World Cup qualifiers, but most supporters will just be happy that he will be fresh for the match against Newcastle after the international break.

You can vote for Greenwood to get the player of the month prize here. The deadline for voting is 12 pm on Monday.
