United Ace Gets PFA Award Nomination After Starring In December

Manchester United may have had an up and down December but one player who has stood out has been forward Marcus Rashford.

The 22-year-old bagged a brace in the 2-1 win over Tottenham at the beginning of the month, and he followed that up with a decisive goal in the superb 2-1 victory against rivals Manchester City.

After Christmas, Rashford got back on the scoresheet in wins over Newcastle and Burnley, taking his total to five goals in seven games.

It has been a breakthrough season for the United star in front of goal, having now scored 12 league goals in total. He only managed 10 for the whole of last campaign.

Playing in his favoured position on the left-wing has certainly helped Rashford thrive, and his red hot form has landed him a nomination for the PFA Awards for the month of December.
