Manchester United are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone, according to RMC Sport reporter Fabrice Hawkins.
The reliable French journalist has broken a number of transfer stories in recent years, and he claims that the Red Devils are pursuing the 21-year-old, along with Juventus’s Adrien Rabiot and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani:

Kone has been linked with other Premier League teams, including Chelsea and Liverpool in recent weeks, whilst Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be keen admirers.
Fabrizio Romano originally mentioned United as a potential suitor for the Frenchman back in March but he did state that Gladbach were holding out for a “minimum” fee in the region of €50m (£44m).
What do we know about Kone?
The midfielder started out in Toulouse’s academy before making his first-team breakthrough at the end of the 2018/19 season. He was a bit-part player prior to his club’s relegation to Ligue Two in 2020.
Kone became a key star in the team’s fight for promotion in 2020/21 and he was signed by Gladbach in the 2021 January transfer window. He was loaned back so he could finish the season in France.
After failing to seal a return to the top flight with Toulouse, Kone moved to Germany, where he has spent the last two seasons, impressing plenty of scouts with his performances in the Bundesliga.
