‘Top Performance’ ‘World Class’ Fans On Twitter Hail United Star After Crucial Intervention Against Luton

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson made his first-team debut against Luton Town last night, and while he didn’t have much to do during the game, he did pull out one top drawer save from Tom Lockyer in the second half.

The 23-year-old clawed away a header from the defender midway through the second half, to help keep the Red Devils 1-0 up. It could have been a very different game if the Hatters had drawn level at that point but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side eventually ended with a 3-0 win on the night following late goals from substitutes Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.

Henderson took to Twitter after the game to express his delight at making his first appearance for United and fans were quick to respond with praise for his performance:

It is expected that David De Gea will return in goal when United play Brighton on Saturday but Henderson has certainly put some pressure on the current number one.
