Manchester United are keen to tie down Alejandro Garnacho to a new contract, following renewed interest from Real Madrid and Juventus, according to reports.
The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have also been mentioned as potential suitors for the Argentinian winger, but the Red Devils are confident that the 18-year-old won’t be lured away from Old Trafford.
With Garnacho having impressed when handed first-team opportunities this season, fans on Twitter are hopeful that the player will remain in Manchester, even though big clubs are circling:
Those two want him already? Wow.

Sure he's still got 2.5 years left? No panic but be good to get him tied to a 5/6 year deal.

They've been in conversations for a while. Nothing to worry about yet, he's with us til 2025

Get him signed up to a new contract, cannot risk losing him.
It's hard to manage this situation without inflating his ego or avoiding losing the player.

United legend Paul Scholes is one of those who will be hoping that the teenager remains at the club for the long term. After his cameo performance in the Manchester derby at the weekend, the former midfielder was full of praise for the winger:
“He’s been good every time I’ve seen him. I think he’s been a real threat. I thought he should have come on before Antony.”
Garnacho’s contract expires in 2025 so United don’t have to rush into giving him an extension but, if he does put pen to paper on a new deal, it would help end speculation about his future.
