Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini’s distinctive hairstyle has graced the English game for over a decade.
The Belgian’s afro has stayed with him both at Everton and during his five-year spell at Old Trafford, but no more.
Fellaini revealed on his Instagram account this morning that he has had a haircut ahead of his 31st birthday tomorrow:
Fans on Twitter had a variety of responses to the new look:

Fellaini has been struggling with a groin strain in recent weeks but had to play the full 90 minutes in the Manchester derby after an injury to Paul Pogba.
A divisive figure among the fanbase due to his performances on the pitch, he is a firm favourite of manager Jose Mourinho having made 13 appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring one goal and contributing two assists.
Fellaini has not been called up for Belgium during the current international break, with the 30-year-old still getting back to full match fitness.
