‘This Man Can’t Defend’ ‘Rather Get Reguilon’ Fans Left Unconvinced By Reports United Are Holding Talks With Brazilian

The representatives of Porto left-back Alex Telles are currently in Manchester hoping to secure a potential transfer to United for the defender, according to reports in Portugal.

The Brazilian international’s contract expires next summer and it is believed that the fullback will be allowed to leave for a pretty affordable transfer fee.

However, Paris Saint-Germain were reportedly put off by Telles’s €30m (£27m) asking price, and with Real Madrid’s Sergio Reguilon available for the same amount, many fans on Twitter think the Red Devils should go after the Spaniard instead:

Interestingly enough, Sevilla are said to be keen on Telles, with the Spanish club also competing with United for Reguilon. However, it doesn’t seem like the La Liga side can afford either player with their main target being Sporting’s Marcos Acuna, who is available for half the price.

It means that United may well have a clear run on signing either Telles or Reguilon if they choose to sign a left-back before the transfer window closes.
