West Ham midfielder Declan Rice is interested in a move to Manchester United but the 22-year-old is unlikely to be moving clubs this summer, according to reports in the local media.
The Hammers are expected to demand a fee close to £100m for the 22-year-old, which will put off interested parties such as United, City and Chelsea.
Supporters on Twitter are surprised by Rice’s asking price and they have called on the club to look at other options that would present better value for money:

To be honest, West Ham’s demands have been known for quite some time. They are very reluctant to lose their future captain and are not prepared to sell without receiving a serious amount of money in return.
There has been some talk about including Jesse Lingard in United’s opening offer for Rice, but reports coming out of London suggest the Irons are not interested in a part-exchange deal. It does appear that this transfer rumour can be put to bed for now.
