“They Are The Biggest Club…” Ighalo Urges 133M Rated Striker To Snub Chelsea And Arsenal For United

Ex-Manchester United forward Odion Ighalo has called on Napoli star Victor Osimhen to snub other clubs in favour of a move to Old Trafford this summer.

The 33-year-old, who has played alongside Osimhen for Nigeria, says that the striker should choose United if he is going to make the switch to England:

“I think it’s a good fit because he is a young boy, he runs and he can score goals. Having Victor Osimhen and Rashford in the top at Manchester United will cause any defender panic because they are two fast players and they are goalscorers.”

“I think he will fit in Manchester United so well. If he asked for my opinion and what should he do, I would advise him to join Man United because, for me, they are the biggest club.”

Osimhen expressed his desire to play in the Premier League earlier this week, prompting more speculation that he could leave Italy at the end of the season.

In addition to United, both Chelsea and Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in Osimhen, although transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has subsequently played down the chances of the Gunners making a bid.

A lot will depend on the price tag. At the moment, reports suggest that Napoli will hold out for €150m (£133m), which would be a record fee for a British club. It remains to be seen whether the Red Devils are prepared to pay that much.
