Salaries in football have reached epic proportions over the last ten years, and the financial muscle of Premier League teams means they can pay their players more than most.
It appears that if you are earning below £100,000 a week in the English top-flight you are among the least well paid.
Things could get even crazier in the coming years, with Erling Haaland’s agents seemingly trying to make him the first £1m a week player. Whether that happens, we shall see, but players in this country are not far off earning those types of numbers now.
