4) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund to Arsenal – £56m)

Aubameyang

The Gabonese international may have struggled for form last campaign but people are too quick to forget how much of an impact he made after arriving from Germany in the 2017 January transfer window.

Arsenal paid a club-record fee for Aubameyang but they got a return on their investment, with the striker winning the Golden Boot in his first full season in the Premier League. He has now racked up 64 league goals in three and a half seasons.
