The Premier League form table since Bruno Fernandes arrived in January shows the incredible influence that he has had following his move to England.
Manchester United have won nine and drawn five of their 14 Premier League fixtures since the Portuguese international’s switch from Sporting Lisbon, accruing 32 points.
The Red Devils lead the way among the other 19 teams with Manchester City only picking up 30 points in the same period, while league champions Liverpool collected 29.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side are fourth, having added 26 points, with Chelsea in fifth also picking up the same number. Spurs round out the top six with Jose Mourinho’s mean securing 25 points.
With those figures in mind, it will be interesting to see whether this form carries on into next season. Of course, teams will be investing in the transfer market between now and September.
However, the relatively short turnaround should help United continue their momentum into next campaign, especially if they make the right additions to the squad.
