Forbes announced their Top 50 Most Valuable Sports Team for 2022 earlier this month but despite their global reach, no football club made the top 10.

6 NFL, three NBA and one baseball franchise lead the way, with the highest ranked soccer team being Real Madrid, who sit 13th, worth £4.4 Billion.

Forbes claims that NFL’s TV rights deal, which is estimated to be worth $112 billion over ten years, is the main reason why the American sport is so dominant. It means that only four Premier League sides are in the top 50.
