Spurs have moved up this list mainly due to the fact that they opted to turn Cristian Romero’s loan move into a permanent deal. It means that, on top of the £60m spent to bring in Richarlison from Everton, they have invested pretty heavily.
With Yves Bissouma having been signed from Brighton, and Djed Spence having been snapped up from Middlesbrough, many feel that Tottenham have made some smart additions over the summer.
