Bayer Levekusen are likely to sell wingback Jeremie Frimpong for between €20m (£17.3m) and €25m (£21.6m) in January, according to reports.
Manchester United are believed to have stepped up their interest in the Dutchman recently, while Chelsea have also been mentioned as potential suitors for the defender.
Considering his low asking price, plenty of supporters on Twitter would back United to go after Frimpong when the transfer window opens:
That’s so cheap get it done. Get gakpo. And if vlahovic is cheap get him too. We need ruthless depth. Players that aren’t good enough or can’t be trusted gotta go.

Have to get him that’s a bargain

You seem oddly certain that he’d be a backup. He’d be brought in to compete for the spot, as it should be

Valuation far lower than the hype about him !
Or does that explains his real quality ?

You do get slightly concerned when a club makes a player available for a rather modest price and, it should be pointed out that Frimpong is still pretty raw at 21 years of age.
The Netherlands international is very strong in forward areas, having scored five goals this season, but his defending does need some improvement. Manager Erik ten Hag is, though, well known for improving young players and you would expect that he will be able to get the best out of the fullback.
