“That Is No Secret” United And Arsenal Circle As Agent Of 30 Goal Zambian Ace Confirms Summer Transfer Plans

The agent of Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka has revealed that the Zambian international will be looking to leave his current club at the end of the season.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham and Liverpool have all been mentioned as potential destinations for the 22-year-old, and his representative Freddie Kanoute says they will hold talks with interested clubs in the summer:

“I think it is time for a new challenge for Patson at the end of the season. That is no secret. We will sit down with the clubs interested in him, work out a good plan and them make the right decision. We don’t want him to change clubs just for the sake of it.”

Daka has scored 30 goals in 33 appearances this season, and he could well be seen by United’s recruitment team as a potentially cheaper alternative to Erling Haaland.

Reports in the Austrian press over the past few weeks claim Daka could be available for as little as €20m (£17.4m), which would certainly make an attractive option for a whole host of teams.

Whether Daka has the ability to step up straight away to a big European league, though, is another question. United would be taking a gamble if they do favour a move for the forward.
