Ten Hag Is ‘A Big Fan’ Of 25M Rated Midfielder As United Consider Taking Advantage Of Arsenal Indecision

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is “a big fan” of Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.

The journalist claims that Arsenal had been intending to secure a deal for the Belgian international but the Gunners have not made a decisive move for the player, leaving the door open for United to swoop in:

Tielemans only has a year left on his contract and it is believed that Leicester may only demand around £25m to sell the player before the transfer window closes.

Signing the 25-year-old for that price would be an excellent piece of business but, we shall have to wait and see whether a formal offer is made.

While ten Hag is seemingly interested in Tielemans, United do have other positions that they may need to focus on strengthening first. A centre-back, a right-back and a forward are all likely to be higher up the list of priorities, so a bid for Tielemans could still be some way off.
