Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans could yet make a move to Manchester United this summer, according to CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs.
The Belgian has less than a year left on his contract at the King Power Stadium, so he could be available for as little as £25m, but Arsenal have been classed as favourites for the player’s signature, up until very recently. However, Jacobs claims that manager Erik ten Hag does like Tielemans, and there is a chance that he could persuade the midfielder to make the switch to Old Trafford instead:
Leicester still anticipating offers between £25-30m before window shuts, and Tielemans would like to move. Ten Hag is a big fan. Tielemans was less convinced when Rangnick made enquiries in January but may reconsider under new boss. Far easier negotiation than with De Jong, too.

As Jacobs mentions, Tielemans does seem like a viable alternative to Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong. Negotiations for the Dutchman have stalled over payments owed to the player by his current club.
If United do decide to pull out of the deal then Tielemans could well be the player the club turn to. Wolves’ Ruben Neves has also been looked at, but the Portuguese’s price tag would likely be far higher, making the Leicester star a more attractive proposition.
