‘Tears In My Eyes’ ‘Finally’ ‘Start Him Vs Arsenal’ Fans Happy As United Star Returns To First Team Training After Lengthy Absence

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has returned to training with the first-team squad ahead of the game against Arsenal tomorrow.

The 22-year-old has not made an appearance since the 1-1 draw against Chelsea back in October, with manager Erik ten Hag having put him on an individual fitness programme.

When asked about his absence, ten Hag said that Sancho would only return to the team when he was ready. That moment appears to be now. Fans on Twitter are delighted to see him back in the fold:

Considering how long it has been seen since he last played a competitive match, it’s unlikely that we’ll see the England international face the Gunners at the Emirates.

Sancho’s comeback is probably pencilled in for one of the two legs of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest or perhaps the FA Cup fourth-round tie versus Reading which is played later this month.
