Newcastle and West Ham are both interested in signing Manchester United defender Phil Jones, according to reports in the UK.
The Red Devils are said to be prepared to offload the 28-year-old for £12m in the summer, but a number of supporters on Twitter think the club should give him away:
They should pls take him for free

It is a bit unkind on Jones, but there’s no doubt that he is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has only selected him in two matchday squads for the Premier League this campaign.
The former England international started his first league game of the season in the 3-3 draw against Sheffield United in November and was substituted at half time.
Jones’ only other Premier League appearance was in the 2-0 home defeat to Burnley at the beginning of January, and his last game came in the 6-0 win over Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup almost two months ago.
