‘Straight Swap’ ‘We Accept Payment In Rice’ United Fans Are All Saying The Same Thing About Jesse Lingard’s Asking Price

Manchester United will consider selling Jesse Lingard for around £30m this summer, according to reports in the English media.

The 28-year-old has been in excellent form during his loan spell with West Ham, having scored six goals in eight appearances, but it appears the Red Devils will consider letting the forward leave at the end of the season.

Lingard is closing in on the final twelve months of his contract at Old Trafford and the club are likely to cash in with his stock currently very high. If he does move to the Hammers, though, fans on Twitter have been calling on the club to include him in an offer for Declan Rice:

West Ham may hold out for a fee in excess of £100m for Rice so including Lingard in any deal is unlikely to reduce the cost of the transfer to a great extent. There will also be competition from the likes of Chelsea for his signature.

United could certainly do with a holding midfielder of Rice’s quality, though, with the likes of Fred and Nemanja Matic having struggled to put in consistent performances this campaign.
