Manchester United could face competition from Arsenal and Liverpool for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, according to 90min.com.

The website says that the two Premier League sides are “still in the equation” in terms of United’s competitors, while Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are also in the frame.

Camavinga’s price tag is said to be in the region of £30m, and that figure will attract a large number of clubs. The 18-year-old has one year left on his contract with Rennes and that is the main reason why he is available so cheaply.

United have entered formal talks with the Ligue One side, so the Red Devils are very much leading the race at the moment but, due to the competition for the teenager’s signature, things could change very quickly.

Fans will be hoping that, unlike with Jadon Sancho, the Manchester club can get this deal over the line fast.
