“Some Day…” United And Rivals On Alert As 21 Goal Poacher Makes Frank Admission About Premier League Switch

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has admitted that he wants to play in the Premier League “some day”.

The Nigerian international has been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea and (more recently) Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window. Speaking after being handed the ‘Best Foreign Athlete of the Year’ award by the Italian Foreign Press Association, Osimhen said:

“I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but like I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”

Osimhen has been in excellent form this season, having scored 21 goals in just 26 appearances. His performances have prompted speculation about a potential move, and these comments are likely to add more fuel to the fire.

Napoli are not going to let the 24-year-old leave without a fight, though. He has been an integral player as the Serie A side close in on their first league title for three decades.

Their president Aurelio De Laurentiis has previously dismissed reports that Osimhen could be sold, although he has admitted that he could be persuaded to sell if the offer is too good to turn down. At the moment, the asking price is believed to be a staggering €150m (£133m).
