Solskjaer Reveals The Remarkable Complaint Mourinho Made Following United’s Win Against Spurs

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Jose Mourinho complained about the away dressing room when he returned as Spurs boss back in December.

During his time at Old Trafford, the Portuguese had made changes designed to make the opposing team’s visit to the ground more uncomfortable, but despite having made the adjustments himself, Solskjaer says it didn’t stop him mentioning the issue. He told United We Stand:

“I’d not really met him before, only briefly when he was at Chelsea and they played Cardiff. We had a nice chat. He was complaining about the away dressing room, the one that he’d changed!”

Whether Mourinho had simply forgotten that he had approved the changing room alterations or he was simply moaning that they hadn’t been changed back, it isn’t known.

In any case, United supporters will be glad to have moved on from the mistakes of Mourinho’s time in charge. Solskjaer still has a lot of work to do in order to ensure the Red Devils reclaim their place at the top of English football, but the Norwegian is certainly taking the club in the right direction.
