Solskjaer Considers Making Shock Selection Decision Ahead Of United’s Clash Against Spurs

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is weighing up whether to drop centre-back Victor Lindelof for the game against Tottenham tomorrow night, according to reports in England.

The Swedish international did score in the 2-2 draw against Aston Villa on Sunday but Solskjaer is said to be worried by the defender’s sharp drop in form during recent games.

Lindelof could be replaced by Axel Tuanzebe who has impressed when fit for United this season. He started the 1-1 draw against Arsenal and the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle in early October.

However, a hip injury sidelined him for six games, and his only start since then was in the 2-1 defeat to Astana last Thursday.

Tuanzebe is highly rated by Solskjaer, with the Norwegian having made the 22-year-old captain for the Carabao Cup win over Rochdale in September.

Whether he will start ahead of Lindelof at Old Trafford tomorrow, we shall have to wait and see.
