Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera was one of the standout players on the pitch as his side triumphed over Chelsea in the FA Cup last night.
The Spaniard scored the opening goal from a superb cross from Paul Pogba, but his defensive work was equally important during the 2-0 win.

With the 29-year-old’s contract expiring in the summer, fans will be hoping the midfielder signs a new deal very soon based on his recent displays.
Herrera barely featured in Jose Mourinho’s plans at the start of the season, but he is now one of the first names on the teamsheet under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Alongside Nemanja Matic, the pair protect the back four whilst allowing the likes of Pogba and Rashford the freedom to go forward and cause havoc in the final third of the pitch.
Herrera’s commanding display last night epitomised the newly found sense of belief within United’s squad over the past couple of months.
