Manchester United are very close to signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to reports in Italy.
It is claimed that the Red Devils are putting the finer details on a £70m deal for the 24-year-old ahead of a move to Old Trafford.

There have been a lot of claims and counter-claims regarding Fernandes this summer already, and United fans would be wise to take this latest development with a huge pinch of salt.
The Portuguese international has been “close” to signing for Manchester City and Liverpool in the last few weeks already, while Tottenham Hotspur have also been roped into the transfer rumours in recent days.
While most of the previous claims have come from Portugal, this one does emanate from Italy so perhaps there is more substance this time around, but we shall have to wait and see.
