David De Gea has yet to decide if he will sign a new deal with Manchester United. Many say that the Spaniard is waiting to see if the Red Devils get to play in the Champions League or not, this being the decisive factor in his choice. The 24 year old who has one year left of his contract has been linked to a move back to Spain where Real Madrid are looking eager to start negotiations. Unfortunately it is all a blur right now with none of the parties involved being able to provide any genuine information. The closest to finding out what is going on was when LVG told the press that the club has already offered the Spaniard a lot of money.
Manchester need to act fast if they want to make something out of the entire De Gea deal. They either have to sell him and avoid losing him for free or make him an offer he cannot refuse. According to the Daily Express, a swap might be in place between United and Real Madrid. If rumors that Casillas is going to leave are true and if Gareth Bale is also unhappy in Spain, De Gea might be part of the deal of the summer. Getting Gareth Bale to Old Trafford would be very impressive transfer which would do the team a lot of good. With a rumored transfer budget of about £150million and with De Gea being valued at about 1/3rd of that, LVG could definitely go for Bale. This deal will take a lot of time to pull off though as other factors such as Cristiano Ronaldo’s future in Madrid will need to be considered by Real as well as a possible late bid from Chelsea for the Welshman’s signature.
