Shaw And McTominay To Start, Van De Beek On The Bench: United’s Predicted XI To Play Watford

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows anything other than a win against Watford at Vicarage Road tomorrow will put his job in further jeopardy.

They are facing a Hornets team who lost 1-0 in their last two matches against Southampton and Arsenal so this is likely to be a pretty low-scoring affair.

In terms of the team, David De Gea will start in goal, while Luke Shaw is expected to recover from a concussion in time to keep his position at left-back. Aaron Wan-Bissaka will take his place on the other flank.

With Raphael Varane still sidelined with a groin injury, Victor Lindelof is likely to deputise once again, alongside Harry Maguire in the centre of defence.

In midfield, Bruno Fernandes is expected to line up in a number ten role, ahead of the fit-again Scott McTominay and Fred. Donny van de Beek will probably remain on the bench.

The absence of Edinson Cavani means Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford could be selected either side of Cristiano Ronaldo in a three-man attack.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face Watford:

De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Fernandes, McTominay, Greenwood, Ronaldo, Rashford
