Manchester United have agreed to sell Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan for €15m (£13.5m), according to reports in the Italian media.
The Chilean international has been on loan with the Nerazzurri since the start of the season and talks over a permanent move are now said to have reached a positive conclusion.
Supporters on Twitter are happy that Sanchez will be off the club’s books very soon:

It is fair to say that the 31-year-old’s move to Old Trafford from Arsenal ended up being an unmitigated disaster. The Chilean spent most of his first eighteen months at the Manchester club on the sidelines with injuries, despite the Red Devils paying a huge salary.
Even when Sanchez was fit, he looked a shadow of the player who had performed so well for the Gunners. Following his switch to Italy, he has picked up his form in recent months, having scored three goals and provided seven assists in his last 12 games, but United will be glad to get him off the wage bill.
