Sanchez boards plane to complete Manchester United move

Alexis Sanchez has launched rumours he is set to complete his transfer to Manchester United after uploading footage of him boarding a plane ahead of his move up north.

The Chile international is set to move to United in a deal that will see Henrikh Mkhitaryan come the other way.

The Armenian is in London to complete a medical ahead of his Emirates switch, and the latest footage of Sanchez suggests he is en route the other way to seal his move to Old Trafford.

Sanchez updated his Instagram story with a short clip of him boarding a small private plane, presumably bound for Manchester, in what looks like snowy Biggin Hill airport.

After landing, Sanchez is expected to complete his cash-plus-player move, and will sign a contract that will see him earn a reported £350,000 – making him the highest earner in Premier League history.

The Chilean has been at Arsenal for three-and-a-half seasons following his move from Barcelona in the summer of 2014, making 165 appearances and scoring 80 goals.
