Ronaldo And Telles To Start, Shaw And Pogba Out: United’s Predicted XI To Play Everton

After a rather disappointing performance against Leicester last time out, Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick will be hoping for a response when they take on Everton tomorrow lunchtime.

The Toffees only played on Wednesday night and, after yet another defeat, they are unlikely to be in a positive state of mind. With that being the case, the Red Devils should be favourites for the three points at Goodison Park.

In terms of the team, David De Gea will start in goal, with Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire expected to line up in the centre of defence. There could be a change at left-back with Luke Shaw a doubt, so Alex Telles may well be handed a start, with Diogo Dalot playing on the opposite flank.

Rangnick will likely favour two holding midfielders away from home, which suggests both Scott McTominay and Fred will be in the starting eleven, with Bruno Fernandes playing in a more advanced role. That could mean that Paul Pogba misses out.

Up front, Cristiano Ronaldo should return from illness, with Jadon Sancho and Anthony Elanga lining up either side of him.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face Everton:

De Gea, Dalot, Maguire, Varane, Telles, Fred, Fernandes, McTominay, Elanga, Ronaldo, Sancho
